Python and Flask: notes and background exports
You will use Python 3.13 and build a web app named notes-web plus a worker
named notes-worker in the examples Project’s python Environment.
Flask defines the routes and Gunicorn serves them in the deployed web process. Psycopg, PyMySQL, and PyMongo handle persistence. The committed Procfile is required by the Python builder.
Complete Before you start, then follow these chapters in order:
- Create and deploy hello
- Persist notes in PostgreSQL
- Add a Redis export worker
- Save exports in object storage
- Try MariaDB or MongoDB instead
- Prepare for production, or troubleshoot and clean up
Downloads: hello source · complete notes source. The source walkthrough is included directly from those runnable files.
