Rust and Axum: notes and background exports

You will use Rust 1.99.0 through rustup and build a web app named notes-web plus a worker named notes-worker in the examples Project’s rust Environment.

Axum serves HTTP. SQLx, the MongoDB driver, Redis client, and AWS SDK provide service integrations. Cargo builds separate web, worker, and migrate binaries; their names become buildpack process types. Commit Cargo.lock: the Rust builder requires it for detection.

Complete Before you start, then follow these chapters in order:

  1. Create and deploy hello
  2. Persist notes in PostgreSQL
  3. Add a Redis export worker
  4. Save exports in object storage
  5. Try MariaDB or MongoDB instead
  6. Prepare for production, or troubleshoot and clean up
